I recently got my first android phone Samsung Milky way Note
And played around with the stock music histrion frustated me because it did not display multiple cover art in 1 album

I am a chip quondam-fashioned in that i dont like playlist since it take time to first motion a unmarried song to device then add it to a playlist so search and remove all the singles vocal that was in playlist afterwards when i not use

And so instead I love to create a folder on My pc put all the songs of the week within it then fire up my favorite ID3 program and tag and number each song in the guild i want with each song having the original single embrace art

I been used to this method for years and learned how to practice this quickly and so for me this is quicker than transfer unmarried songs and playlist them
I dont want to go out this metod ever

Had not had whatever problem on phones or mp3 player before with this

Adept: Good design , many options, swipe to alter cover
Bad: No milk shake role to alter songs
acidently clicking the anthology art twice overides multiple cover art with one embrace art for all song inside that album, album art not every bit large as TTPOD

While i am sticking at the moment with Poweramp because of the swipe
I accept been digging a fleck why multiple anthology art is omitted past my phone

I am not certain if this is a Android or 3rd party app issue
just when testing poweramp i establish this.....

When tapping the album art in poweramp bring upwardly a choice screen one is to change album art for the ane on your ID3 tag....
if that is pressed all multiple album arts are overidden to just one and aforementioned album art inside that album....

However i found that the Id3 tags in the files realy has not been erased moving the files back from telephone to pc showed this...but somehow many Mp3 applications on Android phones pick one of the album art in that album and hibernate the rest similar proverb....You only allowed to use i album art for each album....

But theres more once the album art in poweramp has been tapped and selected to modify ID3 tag that way... there is no manner back......

Information technology is and so memory resistant that even uninstalling Poweramp, cleaning program catche etc.... wont fix it...

I would forget about the tagging and create sub-folders for the tracks using an AlbumArt.jpg in each folder. Can't make creating your compilation that much more difficult, and yous can just queue the whole folder in Poweramp which will queue each sub-folder in the social club you identify them in (just name your subs numerically).

You are not paying attention to what I said, brand your compilation similar this:
COMPILATION Binder\
COMPILATION Folder\TRACK01
COMPILATION FOLDER\TRACK01\Music.mp3
COMPILATION FOLDER\TRACK01\AlbumArt.jpg
COMPILATION FOLDER\TRACK02
COMPILATION FOLDER\TRACK02\Music.mp3
COMPILATION FOLDER\TRACK02\AlbumArt.jpg
etc. etc.
then you can put one track and i AlbumArt.jpg into your TRACKXX subfolders. Just try it, if it doesn't work how you desire information technology to work I will provide a 100% refund.

Hi guys,

I am having about exactly the aforementioned trouble as Coolvibes. The problem is device doubter and player agnostic, it simply displays one artwork for all "loose" tracks not grouped into albums.

My directory construction is like this:

.../music
[loose tracks i]
[loose tracks 2]
[anthology one]
[anthology two]
etc.

Basically, all the albums where the is only one artwork per album displays properly, and all the loose tracks display simply 1 artwork (which is incorrect for every runway except that i). This is problematic if you want to manage your ain music and directory structure is important.

I have organized everything via various tag editors and downloaded artwork via Windows Media Player. All files display properly in WMP.

So I judge my question is, is there any other way to correctly brandish album fine art on Android devices without having to dispense with your directory structure?

The android.provider.MediaStore.Audio class is really screwed up on Android. It doesn't let to define dissimilar covers for audio in the same Album.

PlayerPro was able to use ID3 Cover-Art instead of the MediaStore cover fine art, just this doesn't piece of work since a few versions.
Same goes for most players, every bit they ever apply the MediaStore Form on Android to get the cover.

Are there whatever developers who weren't lazy and used their own implementation for Tag reading on Android?

To work around it, you can tag the Album-Artist tag on all files with the same Album tag:

                                Artist		Title		Album	AlbumArtist	CoverTag	Displayed Embrace Daft Punk	Go lucky	Singles	Daft Punk	get lucky	go lucky Deftones	Bored		Singles	Deftones	bored		get lucky Avicii		Levels		Singles	Avicii		levels		levels Avicii		Wake me upwardly	Singles	Avicii		wake me upward	wake me up                              

This work around will correctly display different covers for each of those songs, all in the "Singles" album, BUT not for the two different songs past Avicii. It'due south because the Mediastore Class will allow different covers for different "AlbumArtists" on a single Album. Since the AlbumArtist tag for both Avicii songs are the same, it will only use ane of the covers for all Avicii songs in the same album "Singles".

Deplorable, but this really pisses me off.

Maybe you tin utilize the music folder player (PlayerPro & Neutron Music Player have the characteristic) without re-tagging files.

For example:
There are three files: 02 - Track 1, 03 - Track 2, and 02 - Track iii, simply similar below

01 - Rail three
02 - Track 1
03 - Track 2

you demand to put track numbers in the file name, like this

01 - Runway ane
02 - Track 2
03 - Runway 3

I know this thread is Fashion sometime, merely I am running into the same "hair pulling" problem myself. Used the app "Tag & Rename" and set everything up. I have virtually 2.6GBs of "90s music" that I just want to bear witness upwardly in Play Music as 1 album only display different cover fine art for each individual song.

Tried everything. The only way it shows one album for all the music is if I select "Part of a Compilation" and build the metadata that way, but then Google Play music merely uses one cover fine art for all 300+ songs. If I uncheck "Part of a Compilation" then each creative person is it's own entry into Google Play music with different cover fine art for each song. But, now I have 300 different songs under the album "Ultimate 90s" which doesn't work for me either.

Driving me nuts it is. Anyone figure out a way to force it to display multiple encompass art for multiple artists within the aforementioned anthology?!?!

Anyone know how to view multiple embrace art in each mp3? For years I have Mp3tagged mutiple embrace art to hundreds of mp3's and however waiting for a time to be able to view them in any music player.

..to bring this thread up once more, android however has this annoying problem!
I create(d) samplers for every year and periods and practice want to see individual covers for each vocal.
My solution was poweramp, but now the problem returns with my android car organisation,

Does anyone have hints?

For others who have the aforementioned problem, I found the solution, which is quite uncomplicated and logical:

Simply edit the tag "albumartist" to the private artist!!
You're done!
